Coordinating Virtually
One great resource I’ve found to share and coordinate schedules, databases, and files with other professionals on my team who are not in the same location is by utilizing a service called, BlueTie.com, which can provide real-time access to all of your information anywhere-and thus fulfill the dream of the mobile worker. BlueTie allows you to use e-mail, share calendars, files, and contacts, and even broadcast instant messages from any computer or PDA device with internet access, anywhere in the world!

With a confidential user ID access, you can log on and view your current schedule, leave messages, and download presentations or materials. You can also provide numbers through a spreadsheet or have something designed and available to you wherever you may be.

There are many ways to work in virtual cyberspace, and to complete whatever task you need accomplished, but this is one of my favorites. Share current, up-to-date information, answer e-mail, or even allow someone to send e-mail on your behalf, as if it came from your address are but a few of the advantages via this virtual site. It’s a fabulous service tool that creates a virtual office in which team members can operate efficiently and effectively.
